About Victoria

Victoria Druley has lived in Medina for 14 years with her husband, Patrick, and their four children: Fox, Jet, Oak, and Roc. Her children attend H.G. Blake Elementary and Claggett Middle School. As a parent with students in multiple school buildings, Victoria remains actively engaged in the district and is committed to helping Medina's schools continue to grow and succeed.

When Victoria moved to Medina, the district faced significant challenges. Levies had failed, and the community's trust in school leadership had been shaken. These issues motivated her to get involved with Kids First Medina, the local levy committee working to restore stability and secure the funding necessary for student success. What began as a concerned parent stepping up became a long-term commitment to public education.

Over the past decade, Victoria has worked on every Medina City Schools levy campaign and now serves as chairperson of Kids First Medina. She led the effort to pass the district's most recent emergency operating levy in November. Beyond her efforts in Medina, Victoria has engaged with lawmakers at the state and federal levels to push for fair school funding and stronger support for public education.

In addition, Victoria volunteers with the PTO and consistently advocates for students, families, and staff. She believes that strong schools are the foundation of a strong community and that it is a shared responsibility to ensure every child receives the support needed to succeed. Her commitment to public education is rooted in the belief that thriving schools benefit everyone, not just the families they directly serve. As a school board member, she will prioritize listening to the community and making thoughtful, informed decisions that reflect its values and needs.

Victoria is running for Medina City School Board to help preserve the stability, quality, and community trust that the district has worked hard to build. She will focus on smart policy, fiscal responsibility, and the well-being of students, families, and staff. As schools continue to face new and complex challenges, particularly in the wake of state-level funding shifts and policy changes, she believes it is essential to elect board members who understand these issues and have already been actively engaged in addressing them. Her goal is to help maintain a school system that reflects the values of the community and supports success for all.
